Tag Post!

Tagging is very different on Dreamwidth than tumblr.  I know, I know, you love your tags!  However, this comm is limited to 1000 tags and no more (and even if I paid to upgrade it, it would still be limited) so sadly tumblr-style tags aren't an option.  There are many other ways to express yourselves on posts, though!

If you'd like a particular tag added to the ones available for use at the comm, please comment here!  I've tried to add the most popular ship and smush names, but I know there are many more.  You can see all tags currently in use at the comm by going here: https://detroitbecomehuman.dreamwidth.org/tag/ and scrolling down.

Things like !mod post are handy for catching up on announcements and such. I guess 'fanfiction,' 'meta,' 'art' etc... would be useful too. Just a few general purpose ones that could help anyone who passes by to find their way around.

!mod post is a very good idea, thank you! We did have fanfic and such but turns out they don't show as public tags unless the post they've been used on is public as well. Relearning DW comes with a steep learning curve :D

I'm excited, too! It's strange but also fun to see fandom grow on Dreamwidth again after all these years.
