76 Kisses Shortfic/Tweetfic Prompt Challenge!

Hello everyone!  Things have been quiet lately, so let's shake them up!  Leave a prompt on this post with the following three things:

A number from the list below the cut
A pairing or multi ship from DBH
Any and ALL modifying adjectives you want to include (ie Reverse AU, both female, M/F or F/M, trans, both human, etc.) Go ahead and challenge us!  You can use as many adjectives as you want!

For this challenge, let's try to make short fics that would fit into a single tweet!  That means that they will be anywhere between 140 and 280 characters (not words!)  I'll be posting any fills I write to my Twitter: glymrs as well as on this post.  Feel free to do the same!  Anyone can claim and write for any prompt.

Snow didn't automatically melt in their hair or eyelashes. The way the large flakes caught on Connor made him look almost ethereal. It was far too artistic a moment to miss, and Markus understood Carl a little more. It made the kiss sweeter for that clarity.

Markus falls in the snow, and Connor stumbles.

"Come on," he says; he scans Markus, finds his units unresponsive. Dead. The cops he's left behind are behind them - they're too close to the border to stop.

"Markus, please," he says; he bends down, presses his lips to Markus' forehead, prays his temporal processors will kick on. "We're so close," he whispers. Connor doesn't believe there's a god for androids, but if there is, then Ra9, let them cross this border. Nothing's gone right so far, and all he wants is this one little thing. Please, he thinks. Please.

To his relief, Markus awakens, his synapses gasping.

"Connor," he croaks. "You should run."

"No." Connor grabs Markus by his shoulders; always stubborn, that's what Hank would have said. "We go together or we go down together."

Connor inches forward, his eyes on the border more than the thundering guns ever-peppering their heels.

Just a few steps further. Just...a...few...more...steps......

GW androids were not built for social skill or prettiness: which explains Gwen's nearly blown cover but makes Nila's constant thoughts of kissing her a mystery.

But now one problem might be a solution to the other.

There are ethical issues involved in kissing a recently deviated android who is in principle under her authority but they need a cover fast and Gwen's deviancy often manifests as inappropriately timed pop culture jokes. She'll understand.

"Play along," Nila whispers, pulling Gwen in by her hoodie strings.

Her lips are everything Nila imagined.

14. kiss on the neck; Hankcon

There are five freckles on Connor's neck. Two on the back, just at the edge of his hairline; two at the front near the base, each a little off center; and one on the side, halfway down--Hank's eyed it for months. It's the first one, out of all of them, that he kisses once he finally can.

"What are you doing?" Connor asks, quietly against Hank's hair.

"Kissing your freckles," Hank says as he moves to the next one.

"I didn't even know I had them there."

And it's a tragedy, Hank thinks, that Connor has so much computing power and doesn't even know about his own freckles.

He'll just have to memorize them all himself.

"They're gone," Hank whispered.

"Who-?" Connor's eyes widened with realization and hurt. "Oh."

Oof, I forget to make it specifically an all-human AU, though it could be read that way.) ^_^;

Everything had built to this point. They'd worked together for months. Lived together nearly as long. And they'd had their first real date.

So why was Hank feeling shy *now*? "Connor," he whispered, dropping his eyes.

Connor didn't speak, just cupped Hank's cheek and leaned in.

North doesn't stop and as she runs forward, dodging bullets that fall like rain. Stop and think and you're dead. Engaging anything other the most instinctual ROM information and you're dead. Look and care and feel about the fallen and you're dead. Keep moving on, keep moving straight. All you can do, she thinks.

She rendezvous with Markus behind a pillar as he provides cover fire; she joins, the rat-a-tat-tat of their guns a percussive symphony. The humans fall back, for just a moment, and she takes a deep breath.

"North," Markus says, and bends his head low, and despite all the risks, she leans forward into the kiss, celebrating as they melt together. "For luck!" he says softly, and somehow on a battlefield, she hears him.

Then he's gone, and she moves too. Keep moving forward.

Everything in Canada is the same, yet different.

Luther and Kara keep a low profile, don't talk to strangers, don't look too close to anybody. They're careful, gotta be careful: the little one needs them, and just because it isn't Detroit doesn't mean it doesn't have dangers.

Still, they can relax a little bit, Luther thinks; he presses a kiss to Kara's neck as she shops for new clothes for Alice, and doesn't miss the way she breaks into just the softest hints of a smile.

Sometimes, Kara doesn't quite believe they've really made it out alive.

She stands over Alice's bed at night and watches her, relief in her eyes. She's almost thankful the child models need sleep, doesn't want Alice to know sometimes she fears its just a dream.

Sometimes, just looking isn't enough; sometimes, she presses her lips to Alice's soft cheek, just to remind her they've made it.

Connor always 'woke up' first. It was like a law of nature.

So when Hank stirred and found the android curled warm against him, he was startled, but grateful. He slid one hand around the back of his neck and pulled him into a sweet kiss.

He tugged Hank closer instead. Balanced on the edge, he leaned down just enough to catch Hank's lips in a warm, yet chaste kiss.

He couldn't let the humans and androids go to war.

He made himself let go.
