DBH Drabble-a-thon! Come play!

THE DRABBLE-A-THON is officially CLOSED to new prompts!  But feel free to respond to existing prompts!  I've made a list of all unfilled prompts here, please let me know if I missed any!

It's time for DRABBLES!  What is a drabble?  A drabble is a short story of exactly 100 words.  It might sound hard, but the challenge is part of the fun!

Tonight is the last night of Hanukkah and the first night of the Drabble-a-thon.  Like Hanukkah, it will last Eight Crazy Nights!  It officially starts at 6am Pacific Standard Time, December 9, and will last through 5:59am Pacific Standard Time on December 17th (for the rest of December 17th I have another fun thing planned, which I will announce in a day or two).

To leave a prompt for the drabble-a-thon, just make a comment to this thread.  Please try to keep prompts for drabbles to one or two words or a short sentence (your prompt shouldn't be longer than the drabble, after all!)  If you have a prompt for a massive AU crossover or something, it would probably be better to stick it on the DBH Kinkmeme.  Feel free to also prompt for specific characters/pairings!  Rarepair prompts would be awesome!  All ships are welcome on this comm, so if a pairing doesn't float your boat, feel free to ignore that prompt and go to the next. :)

To fill a prompt, please reply to the prompt comment.  You can either post directly into the comment box, or post a link to the fill on AO3. 

There might be a small prize for the person that fills the most prompts, just to make things extra fun. :)

Conner celebrates the holidays with Hank.

"I want to get it right," Connor insisted. Forty-five-degree fold, mark the crease, grab the tape—

Hank groaned. "So long as there's a gift underneath, nobody'll care."

"I care." CyberLife's perfect prototype would've never participated in this. Deviant, free, entirely his own person, and here he was struggling with simple human rituals. Frustrating.

"Yeah, I can tell." Hank knelt next to Connor. "Here, let me hold a corner. It'll be easier."

Forty-five-degree fold, mark the crease, tuck the piece Hank held before taping it down—

"Ah," Connor said. "It's perfect. Thank you."

Awwwww! Of course he will care! And he will know it's not perfect! I love this, it's so sweet and so Connor, and I adore that Hank eventually accepts it and helps.

I love thinking about who the gift might be for. Someone at the DPD? RK900? One of the Jericho gang?

This was perfectly in-character, our anal-retentive darling still being as obsessed with fulfilling his Mission even though it's a mission he never would have undertaken at the behest of Cyberlife. Wonderful!

And ooh, that's a good question. I never thought about who the gift might be for - I wonder whether Connor would be more concerned about making a gift look perfect if it was to give to a friend or to someone who didn't like him.

Lol xD I don't know why I find this so funny but I do. Once Connor gets it, he ends up wrapping all the gifts perfectly - their trees looks like it came out of a magazine and clashes with the rest of hank's house

I love it! The part where Hank handed Connor the star for the tree made my heart melt. I love that Hank can talk about Cole with Connor now, too. This feels very in character for both of them. Great job! <3
